The program Proteinortho is a stand-alone tool that is geared towards large datasets and makes use of distributed computing techniques when run on multi-core hardware. It implements an extended version of the reciprocal best alignment heuristic. Template:App Location

Running the application using modules

To use proteinortho with the environment modules system at HPC the following commands are available:

Get module information for proteinortho:

$module spider proteinortho

Load the default application module:

$module load proteinortho

The modulefile for this software adds the directory with executable files to the shell execution PATH and sets the following environment variables:

  • HPC_PROTEINORTHO_DIR - directory where proteinortho is located.
